Director, Field Security (Cybersecurity)

Location: New York, New York, USA; hybrid role requiring at least two days per week in the New York office.

Salary: $224,000–$280,000 per year; no additional commission-based compensation.

What you will do

• Advise Sales and represent hirify.global’s security posture, roadmap, and philosophy to customers, prospects, and regulators.
• Consult strategically important enterprise customers on significant, business-critical security issues.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and business leaders to translate customer requirements and regulations into security objectives.
• Analyze customer needs and allocate Field Security resources from product, technical, and security perspectives.
• Lead complex project plans, specifications, and schedules to achieve critical outcomes.
• Define scalable, resilient, and effective security structures, controls, and organizational standards.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in information security, field security, or customer-facing technical leadership.
• Experience consulting with senior leadership and enterprise customers on business-critical security concerns and operational implications.
• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks including SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, FedRAMP, EU AI Act, and DORA.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience establishing organizational standards and managing complex project plans in a rapidly evolving environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
