What you will do

• Provide Japanese-English interpretation for internal and external meetings and translate emails and business documents.
• Develop translation resource plans, tooling strategies, and standards for third-party business engagements.
• Define when to use dedicated translators, centralized resources, machine translation, and AI-enabled tools.
• Create cultural communication training covering cultural context, conversation patterns, and communication styles.
• Support potential expansion into Chinese and Korean language resources, vendor coordination, lexicon management, and process planning.

Requirements

• Native-level bilingual English and Japanese communication skills are required.
• At least 3 years of translation or interpretation experience, or at least 4 years of experience working in an English-first environment.
• Experience in B2B work.
• Knowledge of or interest in the gaming market and industry, with general knowledge of video games.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate work.
