Director, Medical Payer Strategy, Eye Care and Neurotoxins

Location: Hybrid role based out of Irvine, California, United States

Salary: $182,000–$346,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and execute medical affairs access, payer, IDN, guideline, clinical pathway, and HCDM strategies across access channels.
• Provide medical market access, scientific, health economic, and pharmacoeconomic expertise to Commercial, Market Access, HEOR, Clinical Development, and Medical Affairs teams.
• Lead global gaps assessments and integrate medical market access evidence needs into Integrated Evidence Plans.
• Develop medical pharmacoeconomic materials, education programs, advisory activities, symposia, field resources, and stakeholder training.
• Lead real-world evidence planning with HEOR, oversee relevant data generation, and support access-focused collaborative research.
• Represent hirify.global at industry conferences and support regulatory, compliance, OEC, and Legal discussions.

Requirements

• Advanced education such as PhD, PharmD, PA, or NP is highly preferred.
• Typically 8 years of pharmaceutical industry or equivalent experience, with substantial understanding of managed care.
• Experience with pharmacoeconomics, strategic initiatives, project-level leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience in eye care or neuroscience is preferred.
• Knowledge of statistical methodology, regulatory requirements for real-world evidence, and RWE protocol design.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work independently with limited guidance.
