Principal Product Manager (EC)

What you will do

• Define the vision, mid- to long-term strategy, and roadmap for the merchant and vendor product portfolio.
• Set product positioning, target segments, value propositions, KPIs, and development priorities across multiple solutions and platforms.
• Identify opportunities and priorities using market trends, competitive analysis, and merchant and vendor challenges.
• Design integrated experiences and product-to-product connections across BOSS, Compass, RMS Service Square, and external-integration platforms.
• Align stakeholders across product, engineering, business, sales, support, security, and external partners.
• Support individual product managers in maintaining consistent and high-quality product outputs.

Requirements

• More than 5 years of product management experience in web services, SaaS, platforms, business support services, or e-commerce.
• Ability to analyze markets, customer challenges, and competitors and identify product opportunities.
• Ability to create and execute a mid- to long-term product vision, strategy, and roadmap spanning multiple products.
• Ability to lead cross-functional alignment and decision-making with customers, partners, sales, support, engineering, and security.
• Business-level English proficiency required; TOEIC 800 or equivalent accepted.
• Business-level Japanese proficiency required, N2 or above.

Nice to have

• Experience managing product portfolios, roadmaps, and priorities across multiple products.
• Experience operating platforms or integrations for external vendors, partner companies, or internal developers.
• Experience improving customer value through integrated experiences, user flows, or bundled product offerings.
• Experience using KPIs, user research, inquiry analysis, and sales or support feedback to improve products.
• Experience improving product management practices through product reviews and knowledge sharing.
