TL;DR
Product Lead (AI Neobank) (Fintech/AI): Leading product direction, execution, quality, and outcomes across major areas of an AI Neobank app with an accent on financial services, product strategy, and cross-functional delivery. Focus on simplifying complex regulated products, guiding multiple squads, translating constraints into product decisions, and driving measurable post-launch improvement.
Location: Japan, Tokyo; hybrid work from the Japan office at least 3 days per week

operates a mobile-first insurance and financial services platform and is expanding into spending, saving, investing, exchanging, travelling, and other financial products through its AI Neobank app.
What you will do
- Lead product direction for major areas of the AI Neobank app.
- Define priorities, roadmaps, product standards, and success metrics across multiple features or squads.
- Guide product managers, product owners, designers, and engineers toward clear execution.
- Work across insurance, payments, savings, investing, travel, and other financial services.
- Translate regulatory, operational, and business constraints into practical product decisions.
- Drive launch quality, post-launch learning, continuous improvement, and a product culture focused on user value and measurable impact.
Requirements
- Strong experience leading digital product areas rather than only individual features.
- Ability to balance strategy, execution, UX, data, engineering, and business outcomes.
- Strong judgment in prioritization, trade-offs, and product sequencing.
- Ability to work through ambiguity, rapid change, and senior stakeholder pressure while going deep into product details.
- Experience simplifying complex financial products into usable customer journeys.
- Strong English communication is required; the role is based in Japan and requires working from the Japan office at least 3 days per week.
Nice to have
- Experience leading or mentoring product managers, product owners, or cross-functional squads.
- Experience in fintech, insurance, payments, consumer apps, or regulated products.
