Software Engineer Professional (Java/AWS)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale backend services with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Node, NestJS, and TypeScript.
• Build scalable RESTful APIs, microservices, reusable components, shared libraries, and responsive React applications.
• Design and deploy cloud-native and serverless applications on AWS using Lambda, S3, Docker, and ECS/EKS.
• Build CI/CD pipelines and automate testing, deployment, release processes, infrastructure provisioning, and quality and security gates.
• Design and optimize relational and NoSQL databases, including schemas, queries, indexes, migrations, and data consistency.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, monitoring, alerting, observability, root cause analysis, and performance tuning while collaborating with Product Owners, Architects, QA, DevOps, and Security teams.

Requirements

• Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ, Terraform, Kong or Apigee API Gateway, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design and Event-Driven Architecture.
• Experience with AWS networking and security concepts, including IAM, VPC, Security Groups, ALB/NLB, and Route53.
• Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, role-based access control, OWASP Top 10, encryption, and dependency vulnerability scanning.
• Experience with Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, application dashboards, production alerts, and SRE practices.
• Ability to collaborate in Agile ceremonies and produce technical documentation and architecture diagrams.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted software development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, or Kiro.
• Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
