Lead Engineer - Fullstack (React/Next.js)

hirify.global is an insurance company hiring an engineer to build and maintain enterprise web applications.

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable, responsive, secure, and high-performance applications with React and Next.js.
• Build reusable, accessible UI components, design systems, and component-driven frontend architecture.
• Implement client-side and server-side rendering, state management, REST API integrations, authentication, and authorization.
• Define frontend coding standards, review code, and support decisions about frameworks, libraries, build tools, and deployment patterns.
• Write unit and integration tests, troubleshoot defects and production issues, and maintain code quality.
• Mentor team members and provide technical direction on frontend engineering practices.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of software development experience with a strong frontend focus.
• Strong hands-on experience with React, Next.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience building enterprise-level, responsive, accessible, and high-performance web applications.
• Strong knowledge of frontend architecture, component-driven development, state management, reusable UI patterns, and REST API integration.
• Working knowledge of Node.js, backend API concepts, secure coding, performance optimization, and browser compatibility.
• Experience with Git-based source control, CI/CD practices, and testing tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.

Nice to have

• Experience with Express.js, NestJS, design systems, UI component libraries, or micro-frontend architecture.
• Familiarity with Azure, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, and event-driven systems.
• Experience in regulated or high-security industries such as finance, healthcare, or insurance.
