Staff Site Reliability Engineer (AI/Blockchain)

Location: Remote within the United States of America

Salary: $195,000–$257,500 per year base pay

What you will do

• Operate and scale production blockchain infrastructure, including full nodes across Arc, Ethereum, Solana, Base, and other supported protocols.
• Design and maintain highly available, secure Kubernetes platforms with automation, resilience, and self-healing workloads.
• Build CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Pulumi, and cloud-native tooling.
• Develop AI-powered infrastructure automation for Kubernetes lifecycle management, IaC analysis, blockchain cost optimization, and MCP server integrations.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize distributed systems while participating in follow-the-sun on-call rotations, incident response, and post-incident reviews.
• Partner with protocol, product, security, and engineering teams; mentor engineers and drive architecture and reliability improvements.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering, ideally in cloud-native or blockchain environments.
• Proven technical leadership in complex distributed-systems architecture and design.
• Deep expertise in blockchain protocols, Kubernetes internals and tuning, observability, and chaos engineering.
• Experience with blockchain nodes, CI/CD, containerized workloads, deployment strategies, Terraform or Pulumi, cloud networking, SQL databases, and stateful production services.
• Proficiency in Go or Python for platform automation and infrastructure tooling.
• Experience mentoring engineers and scaling SRE practices across teams, with strong engineering judgment and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience building AI-enabled infrastructure tooling or agentic workflows.
• Familiarity with MCP servers and responsible use of generative AI in engineering workflows.
• Passion for crypto and blockchain infrastructure.
