Cleared American Guard (CAG)

Location: Bardstown, Kentucky, with worldwide travel and extended OCONUS assignments required.

What you will do

• Provide security support at U.S. government-secured construction sites and SCIF projects.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access at site entrances.
• Screen non-cleared workers, vehicles, and equipment and prevent prohibited materials from entering secure areas.
• Conduct random site inspections and monitor CCTV, access-control, and intrusion-detection systems.
• Report suspicious materials, incidents, and security anomalies to the appropriate authority.
• Assist with developing and executing construction security procedures.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Active U.S. SECRET clearance is required; TOP SECRET clearance may be required under COM authority or site direction.
• NCIC-III and Terrorist Screening Database checks must be passed for base access.
• Ability to stand, walk, and inspect areas for extended periods in outdoor and variable-weather conditions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain base access credentials and complete required installation paperwork.
• Antiterrorism Level I training is required and may be completed after hiring.

Nice to have

• Security, law enforcement, military, protective security, or facility access-control experience.
• Experience with SCIF construction or secure facility operations.
• Knowledge of ICD 705, CNSSI 7000, DODD 5205.07, and TEMPEST standards.
• Experience with personal and vehicle searches, CCTV, portable intrusion-detection equipment, SFPC, or SPSC certification.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, and security discipline.
