Sr Systems Engineers (Blockchain)

What you will do

• Design and implement high-performance components in Rust, C++, or Go for the DEX engine and Layer 1 protocol runtime.
• Build low-latency pipelines for order execution, event propagation, and state updates.
• Optimize concurrency, scheduling, memory layout, and I/O paths for determinism and throughput.
• Collaborate with protocol engineers on safety, composability, and consensus compatibility.
• Investigate performance bottlenecks through profiling, tracing, and benchmarking.
• For senior and principal candidates, drive system design, shape execution architecture, and mentor engineers.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Rust, C++, Go, or another systems programming language.
• Understanding of high-performance or distributed systems, including runtimes, databases, operating-system concurrency, or low-latency engines.
• Ability to reason about execution flows, concurrency models, resource lifecycles, and system invariants.
• Practical experience profiling CPU, memory, and synchronization overhead.
• Experience working with performance, determinism, resilience, and runtime constraints.
• Business English proficiency for spoken and written communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with matching engines, databases, compilers, blockchain runtimes, or HPC systems.
• Knowledge of lock-free concurrency, zero-copy data structures, or cache-aware design.
• Exposure to protocol engineering, consensus systems, or transaction ordering.
• Experience with formal verification, static analysis, or other correctness-focused engineering.
• Open-source contributions to systems-level projects.
