Sales Operations Associate (Retail)

Location: West Los Angeles, California, United States; hybrid schedule with in-office work required Monday-Wednesday and remote work available Thursday-Friday

Salary: USD 28–31 per hour; the posting also lists a pay range of USD 30–34 per hour and a possible discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Manage promotional plans throughout their lifecycle in the trade promotion management system.
• Coordinate status calls, account updates, promotional plan entries, edits, and customer portal activities.
• Validate volume forecasts, investigate pricing discrepancies, and resolve deductions, invoices, and outstanding customer payments.
• Prepare promotional sell sheets, contracts, sales administration forms, and supporting documentation.
• Maintain standard operating procedures and organized archives for assigned regions and customers.
• Partner with sales, FP&A, and accounting to support, train on, and optimize the trade promotion management platform.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in sales operations or account management preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and time management.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build cross-functional relationships.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Up to five sales or team meetings per year may require minimal overnight travel.
