HSE Supervisor (Oil and Gas)

What you will do

• Identify and control HSE issues and hazards on oil and gas construction sites.
• Monitor EPC contractors' HSE management systems and advise management on compliance and risk reduction.
• Interpret KOC policies, statutory requirements, and Kuwait legislative requirements for project stakeholders.
• Conduct regular site visits, safety talks, and training sessions based on project activities.
• Implement safety observation programmes, follow up on findings, and promote safe work practices.
• Support hazard assessments, safety programme development, accident investigations, and monitoring of safety equipment use.

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering or a Bachelor of Science degree.
• At least 10 years of post-graduation experience, including 5 years in the oil and gas industry and 5 years as an HSE Supervisor.
• Relevant experience identifying and controlling HSE issues on construction sites and working with HSE reporting procedures.
• Certified HSE training in areas such as general industrial safety, construction safety, environmental management, industrial hygiene, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent.
• High school graduates with IOSH or NEBOSH certification and at least 15 years of experience, including 7 years in relevant HSE work, may also be considered.
