Senior Staff Fraud and Risk Analyst (AI)

Salary: $199,500–$270,000 base pay annually

What you will do

• Assess and document business processes, risks, and controls for new offerings and AI-focused initiatives.
• Develop AI risk governance frameworks, controls, and oversight guidelines for Fintech Risk programs.
• Conduct walkthroughs, inspection testing, control assessments, and independent model validation.
• Build dashboards, visualizations, alerts, scripts, AI skills, and other automations for control monitoring.
• Analyze data and complex processes to identify trends, gaps, recommendations, and business risks.
• Drive remediation plans, shape functional strategy, support system migrations, and mentor team members.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience in risk, finance, compliance, audit, or related areas within fintech, payments, lending, or online banking.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM, business, finance, economics, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Advanced experience with R, Python, SQL, and visualization tools such as QuickSight or Tableau.
• Advanced experience developing AI skills and overseeing AI-focused initiatives from a risk governance perspective.
• Strong knowledge of risk and controls management, monitoring, testing, model validation, and statistical methods.
• Ability to lead multiple workstreams independently, influence decision-makers, communicate with executive leadership, and develop strategy.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence models, including theory and practical applications.
• Fintech experience focused on risk and controls related to money movement.
