Senior Fullstack Engineer (Go/React)

Location: Remote within the United States. US citizenship or a Green Card is required, along with at least three years of US residency and eligibility for a Public Trust position. Visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Build mobile-first, responsive React and TypeScript interfaces meeting Section 508 and WCAG 2.2 Level AA requirements.
• Develop Go services running in containers on AWS, supported by PostgreSQL/Aurora and Redis caching.
• Design and maintain automated unit, integration, end-to-end, and accessibility test coverage.
• Build and operate CloudBees Jenkins delivery pipelines with trunk-based development, blue/green deployments, and feature flags.
• Monitor production health through OpenTelemetry, New Relic, and Splunk while participating in a genuine 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Resolve security findings from SonarQube, Snyk, and JFrog Xray and collaborate with clients and external teams throughout the SDLC.

Requirements

• Production experience with Go as a primary backend language.
• Strong React and TypeScript experience, with the ability to work across both frontend and backend systems.
• Experience developing accessible interfaces using Section 508 and WCAG 2.2 Level AA requirements, including semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, and focus management.
• Experience adding automated tests throughout application code without relying on a dedicated QA team.
• Experience with PostgreSQL schema design, indexing, and migrations against a live system.
• AWS or equivalent cloud experience, plus US citizenship or Green Card status, three years of US residency, and eligibility for a Public Trust background investigation.

Nice to have

• Terraform and infrastructure-as-code experience.
• CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or CircleCI.
• Redis, OpenTelemetry, progressive delivery, API gateway, or CDN/WAF experience.
• Experience remediating SAST, SCA, and container-scanning findings.
• FedRAMP or ATO-governed environment experience and screen-reader testing with JAWS, NVDA, or VoiceOver.
