Senior Fullstack Engineer (Go)

Location: Fully remote, with the possibility to work from the Vienna office; candidates must be located in one of the European time zones. Office weeks take place three times a year.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs in Go for web and mobile applications.
• Develop high-performance frontend features and user-facing pages with a focus on performance, accessibility, code quality, and maintainability.
• Improve system performance, monitoring, developer experience, and architectural quality across the stack.
• Build features for high-traffic pages serving millions of users, including fast load times and strong usability.
• Implement A/B tests and rollout strategies while ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers; review code, mentor teammates, and participate in technical interviews.

Requirements

• Significant experience designing and implementing full stack applications.
• Professional experience with Go, PostgreSQL, Redis, gRPC, and event-driven architectures.
• Strong understanding of API design, data modeling, and distributed systems.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, modern HTML and CSS, and frontend development practices.
• Clean, modular, maintainable coding style with a focus on performance and reliability.
• Excellent English skills and residence in one of the European time zones.
