TL;DR
Sr. Solutions Architect, Modern Platforms (TMEGS) (AWS Cloud Architecture): Designing and delivering client-facing AWS cloud architectures, migration strategies, proposals, and consulting engagements for telecom, media, entertainment, gaming, and sports environments with an accent on cloud modernization, security, IAM, and infrastructure as code. Focus on designing multi-account and multi-region architectures, building CI/CD automation, developing cost models, and guiding solutions from requirements gathering through delivery handoff.

What you will do
- Develop client-facing solution summaries, proposals, staffing models, Statements of Work, and RFP/RFI responses.
- Scope workshops and lead the assessment, mobilization, and execution of migrations from on-premises applications and legacy data centers to AWS.
- Design cloud security, identity, access management, and compliance strategies for enterprise environments.
- Design infrastructure as code and automated CI/CD pipelines using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Manage the technical sales cycle from requirements gathering through delivery handoff and coordinate proposal approval with internal stakeholders.
- Develop standardized methodologies for solution design, deployment, and optimization using industry-specific frameworks.
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in solutions architecture, technical pre-sales, delivery, or similar customer-facing technical roles.
- 3+ years delivering pre-sales consulting and advisory services for strategic solutions such as IT strategy, application placement, and cloud governance.
- Expert-level AWS knowledge across EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda, EKS, ECS, IAM, CloudWatch, Route 53, and AWS Organizations.
- Experience with AWS Well-Architected principles, multi-account and multi-region enterprise architectures, and cloud migration approaches including lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and re-architecting.
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, microservices, serverless, event-driven architectures, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
- Strong communication and executive presence, with the ability to translate complex AWS solutions into business value for technical and C-suite stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Active AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional certification.
- Familiarity with AWS or third-party migration tooling.
- Experience using AWS Pricing Calculator and building cost models for client estimates and proposals.
