Senior QA Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; candidates must reside in the U.S. and be authorized to work there.

What you will do

• Define and execute AI-augmented functional, integration, and automation testing strategies.
• Use AI and LLM-based tools for test design, automation script generation, defect root-cause analysis, documentation, synthetic test data, and edge-case discovery.
• Architect and maintain scalable automation frameworks with intelligent test selection, self-healing tests, and predictive defect analysis.
• Evaluate and pilot AI-powered QA tools, building proof of concepts and measuring quality and efficiency gains.
• Integrate reliable automated checks into CI/CD quality gates and promote shift-left testing.
• Mentor QA engineers and establish responsible AI-assisted quality engineering practices.

Requirements

• Professional experience in software Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering, including end-to-end, risk-based, regression, integration, exploratory, web, and API testing.
• Experience building and maintaining scalable test automation with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
• Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, or an equivalent language; working knowledge of SQL.
• Hands-on experience using AI or LLM-powered tools to improve QA efficiency, coverage, or speed, plus an understanding of prompt engineering and AI output risks.
• Experience with API testing, CI/CD integration, Agile delivery, release readiness, and test estimation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field; strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Nice to have

• ETL and data warehouse testing with Fivetran, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar tools.
• Data modeling, data reconciliation, and end-to-end validation across source, ETL, curated, and visualization layers.
• Performance, reliability, security, or visual AI testing experience with tools such as JMeter, Locust, k6, or Applitools.
• Experience building custom AI agents or LLM integrations and using observability tools such as Datadog, New Relic, or Grafana.
• Knowledge of OWASP principles and test management tools including Azure DevOps, Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr.
