Senior QA Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; candidates must reside in the U.S. and be authorized to work there.

What you will do

• Define and execute AI-augmented functional, integration, and automation testing strategies.
• Use AI tools for test case design, automation script generation, defect root-cause analysis, documentation, test data generation, and edge-case discovery.
• Architect and maintain scalable test automation frameworks with intelligent test selection, self-healing tests, and predictive defect analysis.
• Evaluate emerging AI-powered QA tools through proof-of-concepts and measurable quality and efficiency assessments.
• Integrate reliable automated quality gates into CI/CD pipelines and promote shift-left testing.
• Mentor QA engineers and establish responsible AI quality-engineering practices across the organization.

Requirements

• Must reside in the United States and be authorized to work in the U.S.; employment verification is conducted through E-Verify.
• Professional experience in software Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering, including end-to-end, risk-based, regression, integration, exploratory, web, and API testing.
• Experience building and maintaining large-scale automation with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
• Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, or an equivalent language, plus SQL for test data and validation.
• Hands-on experience with AI or LLM-powered tools for improving QA efficiency, coverage, or speed, including prompt engineering and output validation.
• Experience with API testing, CI/CD integration, Agile delivery, analytical problem-solving, and technical communication.

Nice to have

• ETL, data warehouse, data modeling, data reconciliation, or end-to-end data-flow testing experience.
• Experience with performance, scalability, failover, reliability, security, or visual AI testing.
• Experience building custom AI agents, workflows, or LLM-provider API integrations.
• Familiarity with observability, security, and test management tools such as Datadog, Grafana, OWASP, Jira, or TestRail.
