1099 Nurse Practioner or Physician Assistant - Virtual Urgent Care (Bilingual - Spanish)

Location: Remote/work from home, but candidates must reside in one of the listed U.S. states: Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, or Virginia. Work is scheduled in four-hour shifts between 5pm and 12am Eastern Time, with occasional weekend commitments. Occasional travel may be required for team meetings and company events.

Salary: $62–$92 per hour.

What you will do

• Provide virtual urgent care through phone and messaging on Oscar’s platforms.
• Deliver patient care in line with Oscar Medical Group guidelines, practices, and policies.
• Focus on efficient, high-quality care delivery and patient access to virtual urgent care services.
• Collaborate with medical assistants, registered nurses, and providers across primary care and health assessment service lines.
• Report to the Medical Director of Virtual Urgent Care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner or physician assistant program.
• Board certification through ANCC.
• Bilingual Spanish proficiency required: reading, writing, and speaking.
• Current licensure in at least three of the following five states: Florida, Texas, Ohio, New Jersey, or Georgia.
• At least 3 years of experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or outpatient family medicine, plus at least 2 years of telehealth experience.
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses with assistance from the licensing vendor.

• Licensure in additional Oscar Medical Group states, including Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Michigan, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, or Virginia.
