Technical Support Engineer - GovCloud (Remote) (Cybersecurity)

Location: USA - Remote, NC

Salary: $70,000–$110,000 per year, plus bonus and equity eligibility.

What you will do

• Support GovCloud customers with integrating, deploying, and maintaining the CrowdStrike service.
• Own customer issues from initial troubleshooting and root-cause identification through resolution or escalation.
• Manage customer escalations and maintain response quality, timeliness, and overall customer experience.
• Collect information and document product bugs with senior support engineers and Engineering.
• Create troubleshooting and process documentation for the Support knowledge base.
• Improve support processes and develop new approaches to solving customer problems.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in customer support, technical support, system administration, or a related customer-facing role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows services and workstations, including low-level operating system and network troubleshooting.
• Experience troubleshooting Docker, Kubernetes, Windows, and Unix systems.
• Experience with Splunk, Terraform or Ansible, Helm, AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Fluency with REST APIs and familiarity with CJIS and FedRAMP compliance frameworks.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, relationship-management, and independent problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK Framework and cybersecurity best practices.
• Experience supporting kernel-level security solutions, hybrid environments, AV, VPN, firewall, or proxy applications.
• Experience with Salesforce, Jira, Confluence, and Slack.
• MCP or other industry certifications.
