Network Security Engineer

Location: Hybrid - United States. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

What you will do

• Design, deploy, administer, and optimize Palo Alto Networks NGFWs using Panorama, including NAT, App-ID, User-ID, threat prevention, URL filtering, and WildFire.
• Manage Cisco ASA and Firepower firewalls, access-control policies, IPS tuning, and platform upgrades.
• Administer Cisco ISE for NAC, 802.1X, RADIUS/TACACS+, device profiling, and guest access.
• Maintain VPN infrastructure, including Cisco AnyConnect, Secure Access, and site-to-site IPSec tunnels.
• Configure Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN and Cisco Umbrella/Secure Access security policies.
• Investigate network security incidents and collaborate on segmentation, zero-trust controls, compliance, documentation, and ITIL change management.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in network security engineering, enterprise firewall administration, and perimeter security.
• 3+ years of experience designing, deploying, and managing Palo Alto Networks NGFWs and Panorama.
• Strong experience with Cisco ASA, Firepower, Cisco ISE, enterprise VPNs, routing, TCP/IP, BGP, EIGRP, ACLs, NAT, SSL/TLS inspection, and network micro-segmentation.
• Experience working within an ITIL-based change management framework.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• PCNSE, CCNP Security, or CCIE Security certification.
• Knowledge of FFIEC, PCI-DSS, SOX, or NIST CSF frameworks.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure networking and cloud security.
• Automation experience with Python or Ansible.
