Security Engineer, Corporate Security

Location: San Francisco, Seattle, New York City, or Washington, DC, United States.

Annual salary: $320,000–$405,000 USD

What you will do

• Drive endpoint hardening across macOS, Windows, Linux, and ChromeOS through device management, application allowlisting, patching, browser policies, and repeatable controls.
• Extend device-trust and zero-trust access controls for managed devices, appropriate identities, and least-privilege access.
• Build joiner/mover/leaver automation, exception workflows, posture-driven policies, and Claude-assisted security triage.
• Lead SaaS and identity governance covering OAuth grants, delegated administration, chat-platform applications, browser extensions, and software security reviews.
• Partner with Security, IT, and Engineering on telemetry, detections, shared standards, and secure use of AI agents.

Requirements

• Hands-on endpoint security engineering with macOS, Windows, Linux, or ChromeOS, including MDM, device management, allowlisting, system extensions, or endpoint security frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python and scripting languages, with experience building integrations, automation, internal tooling, and detections.
• Working depth in identity and access management, SaaS security, and zero-trust access.
• Strong threat-modeling judgment and the ability to scope security problems, define completion criteria, and deliver solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or professional experience in a relevant field.
• Senior, hands-on individual contributor experience in corporate security engineering.

Nice to have

• Experience defining security-program scope and selecting tooling.
• Endpoint depth across multiple operating systems, mobile security experience, and security governance for modern SaaS environments.
• Configuration-as-code, infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD experience applied to corporate infrastructure.
• Experience building LLM-assisted security tooling and driving adoption of security controls through influence and partnership.
