Resident Inspector - API 510/653 Brunswick, GA (57571)

What you will do

• Perform field inspections of storage tanks, pressure vessels, piping systems, and other industrial equipment.
• Complete written reports using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Manage inspection projects ranging from $5,000 to $100,000.
• Maintain client relationships and communicate project progress and status.
• Coordinate work with other inspectors.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of mechanical integrity experience in the pulp and paper industry.
• API 510 and API 653 certifications are required.
• High school diploma required; a bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Must qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR requirements, including U.S. citizenship or nationality, lawful permanent residence, refugee status, or asylum status in the United States.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, around operating equipment, and with radiation and hazardous materials.
• Ability to work shifts of up to 12 hours per day and 7 days per week, travel for extended periods, and lift up to 100 pounds.

Nice to have

• Additional NDT or API certifications.
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Compress.
