Hygiene Manager (Food Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Glenbervie, Scotland, United Kingdom. Permanent night shift, Monday to Friday, 10:00pm–6:00am, 40 hours per week.

What you will do

• Lead and support the Hygiene Team in completing site hygiene schedules to the required standards.
• Plan and deploy resources across the site to meet hygiene requirements.
• Ensure cleaning procedures, hygiene standards, and operating methods are understood and consistently followed.
• Coordinate hygiene requirements and plan changes across Operations, Production, Quality, and Technical teams.
• Maintain food safety, legality, quality, health and safety, and environmental standards.
• Review hygiene methods, procedures, and equipment to identify continuous improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment as part of a hygiene team.
• Understanding of health and safety standards and compliance.
• Strong planning and organisational skills, including effective resource prioritisation.
• Ability to lead, influence, motivate, and communicate with others.
• Proactive problem-solving approach and ability to build effective cross-functional relationships.
• Permanent right to work in the United Kingdom without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience aligning hygiene practices with legislation, customer requirements, and industry best practice.
