Trust and Safety Agent - French Speaking

Location: Remote in Spain

Salary: €35,405–€42,915 per year, plus a long-term incentive plan and benefits for full-time employees.

What you will do

• Investigate complex and sensitive Trust & Safety cases involving animal and personal safety incidents.
• Manage high volumes of high-severity customer contacts across calls, emails, and SMS, including emergency pet-care incidents.
• De-escalate difficult situations, provide empathetic guidance, and resolve issues objectively under pressure.
• Educate users on safety and security practices and enforce hirify.global Community Guidelines, policies, and Terms of Service.
• Investigate veterinary claims, including gray-area eligibility decisions, while maintaining confidentiality.
• Partner with teammates and leaders across locations to identify risks and improve policies, tools, and workflows.

Requirements

• 2+ years of Trust & Safety or similar safety-related experience.
• 1+ year of customer-facing experience involving de-escalation of intense concerns or crisis response.
• Fluency in French and strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fast, accurate typing and note-taking skills while speaking with customers.
• Familiarity with web applications such as Zendesk, GSuite, CRM tools, and telephony software.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience using hirify.global as an owner or sitter, or working with digital marketplaces.
• Experience in veterinary or animal health, public relations, communications, or social media monitoring.
• Fluency in additional European languages.
