Senior Data Scientist (AI)

Location: Full-time onsite role at the Seattle, WA office; not eligible for remote work.

Annual salary: $108,000–$216,000, plus performance bonuses and potential stock compensation.

What you will do

• Identify and source data across multiple business domains while ensuring quality and analytical suitability.
• Develop, test, validate, tune, and deploy scalable statistical and machine learning models.
• Translate stakeholder and business requirements into data-driven solutions aligned with strategic objectives.
• Assess model accuracy, performance, and scalability in production environments.
• Create clear data visualizations and presentations to communicate insights and influence decisions.
• Mentor junior associates on analytical methods, coding practices, and business context.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in data science and advanced statistical methods.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Java.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning, including feature selection, tuning, and multistage model assessment.
• Expertise in data visualization, data ecosystems, data quality standards, and scalable data storage.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field plus 3 years of analytics experience, or a master’s degree plus 1 year, or 5 years of relevant experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Spark, Scala, R, or open-source frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and Torch.
• Background in data science, machine learning, or optimization models.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices.
