Accounting Assistant - GL

Location: Rama 9, Bangkok, Thailand, near MRT Rama 9 Station

What you will do

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management reporting and local statutory reporting.
• Analyze financial results and key metrics during month-end closing, including P&L and balance-sheet fluctuations.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure accurate, compliant financial records.
• Perform balance-sheet reconciliations, stock takes, fixed-asset monitoring, and physical checks.
• Manage local tax compliance filings, including VAT, withholding tax, and corporate income tax.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, other institutions, and cross-functional departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CA or CPA qualifications are advantageous.
• 3–5 years of experience in finance, accounting, and financial reporting.
• Good knowledge of Thailand’s financial regulations and Local GAAP; US GAAP exposure is advantageous.
• Experience with tax matters, inventory and stock takes, and fixed-asset accounting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Effective English communication skills; SAP or another ERP system is advantageous. CPD license is preferred but not required.
