Automation Intern (Industrial Automation)

Location: San Fernando, Argentina; onsite, 4 hours per day from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, Monday to Friday

What you will do

• Support automation activities related to industrial equipment and machine functionality.
• Test software developed for industrial equipment and verify software-hardware connections.
• Prepare and maintain electrical technical and project management documentation.
• Support programming activities and component selection for machine automation systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on project execution, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to the delivery of automation solutions for the food processing industry.

Requirements

• Be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electromechanical, Systems, Automation, Industrial, or Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Have basic knowledge of programming and automation concepts, electrical systems, and machine functionality.
• Be able to read and understand technical documentation.
• Demonstrate analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills, with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Be available for the full internship program from January 18 to December 13, 2027, and expect to graduate in December 2027 or later.
• Be available to work and commute to the San Fernando site for four hours per day, Monday to Friday.

Nice to have

• Intermediate English, with the ability to hold basic conversations and strong reading and writing skills.
• Interest in industrial automation, electrical systems, and machine functionality.

Hiring process

• Application review: August 17–September 11, 2026.
• Video interview: August 24–October 2, followed by interviews from October 5–16.
• Admission is scheduled for October 19–November 13, with a start date of January 18, 2027.
