TCDC(FCW) Order Fulfillment Designer

Location: Lexington, Kentucky, United States. Hybrid schedule: onsite Monday through Thursday; Friday work location is flexible. Travel of up to 10% is required.

Annual base salary: $60,000–$86,169.99. Compensation type: hourly; not incentive- or commission-eligible.

What you will do

• Support design activities for the Airside Data Center Fan Coil Wall (TCDC) product platform.
• Create and maintain equipment drawings, CAD models, design documentation, and bills of material for bids, submittals, order release, manufacturing, and production support.
• Develop job-specific product configurations, layouts, and documentation packages with engineering partners.
• Apply drafting, design, and documentation standards while maintaining accurate revisions and updates.
• Incorporate design-for-manufacturing updates and support engineering, lab, and CWT readiness requirements.
• Identify design issues and collaborate with engineering and cross-functional partners on product quality, manufacturability, standardization, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Relevant technical training and 6–8 years of experience in design, drafting, or product documentation support.
• Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, electronic design, or a related field.
• Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, ProEngineer, or similar CAD tools.
• Working knowledge of design and drafting standards, documentation practices, models, drawings, and bills of material.
• Ability to work effectively in a technical engineering environment, manage multiple tasks, communicate clearly, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Customer-focused, innovative, detail-oriented, and quality-minded approach to assigned duties.

Nice to have

• Experience with HVAC equipment, sheet metal design, piping packages, or related engineered product environments.
