Data Collection Supervisor (AI Robotics)

Location: San Francisco, CA; able to work in person at the assigned data collection site.

Salary: $95,000–$105,000 per year, plus equity.

hirify.global is an AI robotics company building autonomous supply-chain systems and training generalist robots to perform thousands of warehouse and fulfillment tasks.

What you will do

• Run an end-to-end shift for approximately 8–12 operators, managing coverage, attendance, breaks, task assignments, and handoffs.
• Coach operators against quality scorecards within 24 hours and conduct recertifications when performance falls below the required standard.
• Train and certify new operators, and provide pass/fail input on working interviews and ramp cohorts.
• Manage first-line performance, recognize strong work, address issues directly, and escalate recurring problems to the Data Collection Manager.
• Coordinate with onsite technicians to triage rig issues, reduce downtime, and document failures.
• Track daily shift metrics, enforce safety and data-handling procedures, and turn effective improvements into site playbooks.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience leading frontline hourly teams in warehouse, fulfillment, manufacturing, production, large-scale food service, or comparable hands-on operations.
• Experience coaching people to measurable quality standards and demonstrably improving individual performance.
• Comfort with direct, specific, in-person performance conversations.
• Reliable attendance and flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, in a multi-shift environment.
• Strong attention to detail for precision work where small deviations can affect training data.
• Ability to work onsite at the assigned collection site.

Nice to have

• Experience in robotics, autonomous vehicles, motion capture, AI data collection, or work measured per unit of output.
• Experience training large numbers of new hires during a ramp or launch.
• Progression from individual contributor to frontline leadership.
