Wetlab Protocol Specialist (AI Trainer)

What you will do

• Challenge advanced language models with practical wetlab scenarios and theoretical protocol questions.
• Evaluate factual accuracy, logical workflow, reproducibility, and laboratory safety.
• Cover PCR and qPCR, cell culture, nucleic acid extraction, microscopy preparations, assay standardization, and experiment troubleshooting.
• Document failure modes and reproducible error traces to improve model reasoning.
• Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

Requirements

• Expertise in wetlab techniques, protocol development, experimental design, sterile technique, reagent preparation, quality control, and biosafety practices.
• Hands-on wetlab research or clinical laboratory experience.
• Clear metacognitive communication and the ability to show the reasoning behind technical evaluations.
• A PhD in molecular biology, microbiology, biochemistry, or a closely related life-science field is ideal.
• Peer-reviewed publications are valued.
• Must be located in the United States of America.
