AI-First Mid Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Brazil; remote home-office position.

What you will do

• Build modern, scalable, cloud-native enterprise applications and services.
• Apply AI-first software development practices to improve engineering productivity and code quality.
• Design and develop enterprise-grade microservices and REST APIs.
• Automate repetitive engineering tasks and take end-to-end ownership of developed services.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA, DevOps, business stakeholders, and onsite and offshore engineering teams.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, sprint planning, technical design sessions, and mentoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, and Delta Lake.
• Experience with distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, DevOps, Git, automated testing frameworks, and Agile development.
• Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
