Senior Director, Program Management (Biotech)

Location: Hybrid role based out of the Bridgewater, New Jersey office, with remote work most of the time and in-person collaboration as needed. Frequent global travel of up to 20% is required.

Salary: $214,000–$292,000 annual

What you will do

• Lead integrated program strategy and execution across development, regulatory submission, manufacturing, and commercial launch.
• Act as the senior operational partner to the Global Program Head and represent programs in executive governance forums.
• Manage critical paths, integrated timelines, resource plans, budgets, dependencies, risks, and program documentation.
• Facilitate Global Program Team effectiveness, decision-making, communication, and cross-functional accountability.
• Oversee Life Cycle Management activities, Health Authority submissions, launch readiness, and commercial milestone tracking.
• Mentor program management talent and improve program management processes, tools, and operating models across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific, medical, or business discipline.
• 15+ years of progressive program or project management experience in a biotech or biopharmaceutical environment.
• Experience leading global drug programs from early development through commercialization, including regulatory submissions and product launches.
• Experience working with Global Program Teams or equivalent cross-functional structures in a global matrix organization.
• Experience with Life Cycle Management, Health Authority interactions, launch readiness, and executive-level communication.
• Meaningful exposure to commercial program management and market-facing execution.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as Ph.D., Pharm.D., M.D., or MBA.
• PMP certification or another relevant program management certification.
• Experience in rare disease, respiratory, or specialty therapeutics.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Smartsheet, Veeva, SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint.
