Field Technology Specialist (Telecom and Surveillance Systems)

Location: Swanton, Vermont, USA; approximately 85% travel required; remote work flexibility mentioned.

Salary: $26.00–$40.00 per hour; $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

What you will do

• Maintain computer and camera surveillance systems across a specified geographic region.
• Manage computers, data networks, digital video cameras, recorders, power supplies, and fiber-optic systems.
• Install, update, repair, and maintain hardware and software.
• Track assets and maintain detailed maintenance records.
• Use diagnostic tools to calibrate and adjust electronic equipment to required specifications.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues using electrical theory and electronics principles.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with computers, data networks, digital video systems, fiber optics, electronics, and telecommunications systems.
• Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, hardware, software applications, machines, and tools.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel approximately 85% of the time.
• Ability to obtain and maintain government-issued security clearances.

Nice to have

• Associate's degree in Information Technology or a related field from an accredited institution.
