What you will do
- Load and unload deliveries while following health and safety and manual handling procedures.
- Receive goods and materials, inspect them for defects, and check delivery notes against orders.
- Record discrepancies and maintain accurate delivery, issue, stock, and inventory documentation.
- Load site vehicles and deliver materials to tradespeople working at properties.
- Monitor supplies, report stockouts and material defects, and complete monthly inventories.
- Maintain tools, keep the compound clean and tidy, transport materials with pallet trucks, and dispose of waste safely.
Requirements
- Experience or capability in materials handling, goods receiving, stock control, and inventory records.
- Ability to follow manual handling, HSE, site safety, and PPE requirements.
- Ability to maintain accurate paperwork and documentation in accordance with company procedures.
- Ability to work cooperatively and provide courteous service to members of the public.
- DBS check: not required.
