Senior Pricing Specialist (Federal Government Pricing)

Location: Hybrid in Chantilly, Virginia, United States; minimal travel of 0–20% and occasional non-standard work hours.

Salary: $95,000–$143,000 per year, with potential additional compensation and relocation benefits.

What you will do

• Lead and manage major, complex federal government cost proposals generally valued at $50 million or more.
• Apply government pricing, cost analysis, FAR, and CAS knowledge to professional services proposals.
• Draft and finalize cost and price proposal narratives in accordance with RFP Section L requirements.
• Develop pricing strategies, risk assessments, cash flow analyses, price assumptions, and financial summaries.
• Collaborate with Contracts, Subcontracts, HR, Finance, Compensation, and other functional teams.
• Review proposal quality, support audits, and guide less experienced pricing team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5–8 years of direct federal government pricing experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of government pricing practices, cost and price analysis, FAR, and CAS regulations.
• Experience managing subcontractor data calls and price proposals for prime contractor pricing strategies.
• Experience writing cost and price proposal narratives and responding to pricing evaluation notices and final proposal revisions.
• Strong analytical, organizational, written, oral communication, and business judgment skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Experience managing or mentoring junior to mid-level pricing analysts.
• Federal government Price to Win analysis experience.
• Top Secret / SCI clearance.
