What you will do
- Manage technical payments and reinsurance accounting for a portfolio of direct and intermediary accounts.
- Reconcile and process insurance and reinsurance receipts and payments, including premium collections and claims settlements.
- Prepare cash and accounts receivable/payable application worksheets, monitor balances, pursue receivables, and settle payables.
- Prepare technical payments with supporting documentation and coordinate settlements with the Treasury team.
- Perform daily cash reporting, monthly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and quarterly reinsurance receivable/payable reporting.
- Prepare AR/AP schedules and other reports for MAS reporting, audits, and financial control activities.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in credit control or a related field.
- Diploma in accounting, finance, or business.
- Experience in debt collection, payment negotiation, and dispute handling.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail when reconciling complex accounts and resolving issues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic technology tools; able to work independently, collaborate with the team, and meet deadlines under pressure.
