C-5M Maintenance Analyst/Site Lead (USAF Logistics)

What you will do

• Analyze, develop, and implement logistics plans affecting production, distribution, inventory, and finished-product flow.
• Conduct distribution and network studies, monitor inventory, and analyze requirements to improve delivery times and order fill rates.
• Maintain records and prepare logistics reports, including C-5 support activity and status reports for management.
• Coordinate logistics activities with internal and external customers.
• Lead the C-5 site team by planning, assigning, monitoring, and reviewing work and evaluating results.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field; additional relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
• At least 8 years of experience directly related to the job requirements, or 16 years of progressive related experience in lieu of formal education.
• Secret security clearance or higher is required.
• Experience in USAF organizations performing maintenance tasks and knowledge of USAF supply, logistics, and maintenance processes, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to lead and manage a small team with minimal guidance and supervision.
• Availability to travel outside the local area 5–10% of the calendar year if needed.

Nice to have

• 20+ years of experience in USAF and/or DoD logistics and supply systems operations.
• 5–10 years of experience in C-5M maintenance roles with increasing responsibility and proficiency.
• Experience supporting C-5M operations at Air Force organizational levels.
• Experience with DoD ACAT I/II/III acquisition programs, USAF program offices, or DAWIA logistics certifications.
• Experience across multiple Air Force or DoD centers and geographic locations.
