Contract Specialist (Security)

Location: Onsite in Ipswich, Cheltenham, London or Manchester, United Kingdom. Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Must have lived in the UK for 10+ years to obtain DV Security Clearance.

What you will do

• Lead the day-to-day commercial and operational management of a defined business function.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cost control, reporting, payment governance, and performance analysis.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders and resolve issues and escalations.
• Maintain and improve operational processes, controls, governance frameworks, and reporting.
• Monitor supplier and partner performance and ensure contractual and commercial obligations are delivered.

Requirements

• Proven experience in commercial operations, business management, contract management, supplier management, or a related discipline.
• Strong commercial and financial awareness, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and reporting.
• Experience managing complex processes, governance requirements, controls, and operational activities.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
• DV Security Clearance is required.
• Must have lived in the UK for 10+ years to obtain the required clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience working in complex, matrix, or multi-stakeholder environments.
• Experience managing suppliers, partners, or third-party service providers.
• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and operational excellence principles.
• Experience with financial management, business planning, or resource forecasting.
