⚠️ We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with strong experience in Payments, Transaction Banking, or Financial Services to join an international project. The role focuses on analysing end-to-end payment processes, defining business and functional requirements, supporting payment integrations, and working with ISO 20022 and SWIFT messaging standards.

📋 Responsibilities

• Analyse end-to-end payment processes, journeys, and transaction flows across domestic, international, and internal payments
• Define and document business requirements for payment initiation, authorization, processing, status tracking, recalls, and returns
• Capture H2H, API-based, and file-based payment scenarios
• Translate business needs into clear and detailed functional requirements
• Support the implementation of ISO 20022 and SWIFT MT/MX messaging standards
• Analyse and document payment reporting and regulatory requirements
• Develop business rules, process flows, exception scenarios, and acceptance criteria
• Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for process improvements across payment journeys
• Document end-to-end payment workflows and business processes
• Work closely with business, operations, compliance, and technology stakeholders
• Ensure requirements are clearly understood by delivery teams
• Support the alignment of payment solutions with business objectives and regulatory requirements

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst
• Strong commercial experience within Payments, Transaction Banking, or Financial Services
• Proven understanding of domestic and international payment processes
• Strong knowledge of payment lifecycles and transaction flows
• Practical experience with ISO 20022
• Practical knowledge of SWIFT MT/MX messaging standards
• Understanding of payment reporting, compliance, and regulatory requirements
• Experience documenting business processes and functional requirements
• Experience working with end-to-end payment workflows
• Hands-on experience with H2H payment integrations
• Experience with API-based and file-based payment integrations
• Strong analytical and documentation skills
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with business, operations, compliance, and technology teams
• Fluent English

➕ Nice to Have

• Experience with UAE banking and payment systems
• Experience with payment recalls, returns, rejects, and exception management
• Knowledge of operational workflows for payment investigations and resolution
• Experience working in international banking environments
• Strong understanding of payment-related regulatory processes
