Contract Officer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States. The role works at the customer site and requires 25% travel, potentially increasing to 50%, to DoD ranges and labs across the US, including Alaska and Hawaii. When not supporting a site, remote work or work from a nearby hirify.global office may be available.

Salary: $114,000–$171,000 annually for Colorado Springs.

What you will do

• Support the commander and acquisition flight in acquiring technology and support services for mission objectives.
• Develop RFI, RPP, and RFP documents and create contracts in coordination with the Space Systems Command and applicable FAR guidance.
• Develop and sustain contracts for product development and operational support.
• Incorporate change proposals into existing contracts.
• Coordinate with acquisition and technical flights to align procurements with product development and sustainment goals.

Requirements

• Top Secret security clearance required.
• Previous experience as a DoD warranted contracting officer.
• Experience in contract management, procurement, project and operations management, and contractor management.
• RDT&E experience and knowledge of FFP, IDIQ, T&M, CP, OTA, BPA, and SAP contracts.
• Contract negotiation and drafting experience.
• Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and AFFARS regulations, plus team development and leadership experience.
