Contracts Manager

TL;DR

Contracts Manager (Defense/Intelligence): Manage full lifecycle of government contracts for High Consequence Missions with an accent on negotiation, compliance, and customer relations. Focus on drafting modifications, interpreting FAR/DFAR regulations, identifying risks, and ensuring program performance.

Location: Onsite in Sterling, VA. U.S. Citizenship required with active TS/SCI Polygraph clearance from day one.

What you will do

• Participate in proposal preparation, contract negotiation, administration, and customer interactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and modifications for compliance with policies and laws.
• Summarize issues, research compliance, interpret regulations, identify risks, and recommend solutions.
• Act as primary customer interface during proposals, negotiations, and performance.
• Negotiate business terms and provide governance to program teams.
• Manage relationships with US Government customers and handle multiple assignments concurrently.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years in contract management, negotiations, or related fields.
• U.S. Citizenship and active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required from day one.
• Must work onsite in Sterling, VA.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or equivalent with 8 years experience (or advanced degree with 5 years).
• Knowledge of contract types (Cost Reimbursement, FFP, T&M, IDIQ), NDAs, SOWs, teaming agreements.
• Strong understanding of FAR/DFAR regulations, competitive procurements, and cost structures.
