What you will do

• Apply predictive analytics and machine learning to hard disk drive applications.
• Optimize data-flow throughput for storage solutions.
• Develop AI solutions for edge environments.
• Profile and analyze AI workloads.
• Build simulations and models using physics-informed machine learning.
• Contribute to AI-driven material discovery and applied research proof-of-concepts.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong foundation in linear algebra, statistics, optimization, and calculus.
• Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, R, and a lower-level language such as C, C++, or Java.
• Understanding of supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning.
• Knowledge or experience in applied reinforcement learning, genetic algorithms, computer vision, or natural language processing.
• Availability for a full-time semester internship from January to May or August.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with generative AI, Transformers, GPT, GANs, autoencoders, diffusion models, or physics-informed neural networks.
