Senior Staff / Staff Machine Learning Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Develop GenAI and AI-agent systems for complex eCommerce scenarios.
• Build large language, vision, predictive, and compound AI models.
• Train foundational models and define end-to-end experiments and learning processes.
• Build pipelines for storing and serving foundational models.
• Mentor team members on data lakes, data normalization, dimension reduction, visualization, and statistical modeling.
• Collaborate across teams to align knowledge capture and foundational models with the AI strategy while maintaining security and compliance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of data science experience building large-scale foundational models for eCommerce.
• Expertise in large language model post-training and deployment, with a deep understanding of AI, LLM, AIGC, and ML architecture.
• Strong statistical and mathematical background in defining metrics, learning functions, and analyzing results.
• Significant experience with SQL, Python, PySpark, Scala, R, PyTorch or TensorFlow, Spark, and BigQuery.
• Experience with cloud analytical stacks, data lakes, warehouses, ETL pipelines, and inference platforms in AWS, Azure, or open-source environments.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related field, plus strong communication and teamwork skills.
