Principal Product Designer (AI)

Location: Remote, must be based in the United States

Annual cash compensation: $269,360–$384,800 USD, including applicable base salary, commission, and bonus components depending on eligibility.

What you will do

• Define and champion the product design vision for end-to-end prospecting across outbound, inbound AI qualification, and demand-generation experiences.
• Design cohesive systems and workflows across complex, multi-product ecosystems.
• Shape product strategy with product, engineering, and design leaders, challenging assumptions and introducing new approaches.
• Build alignment across teams and stakeholders without relying on direct authority.
• Guide senior and staff-level designers and establish shared cross-product design direction.
• Explore interaction models for AI-powered and agent-based workflows while balancing data quality, privacy, legal requirements, cost predictability, automation, and user control.

Requirements

• 12+ years of product design experience, or equivalent expertise demonstrated through another career path.
• Strong systems-thinking and experience designing across multiple products, complex workflows, platforms, or large ecosystems.
• Advanced interaction design skills, including the ability to address distinct administrator and end-user needs.
• Experience influencing product direction, presenting design vision to senior and VP-level stakeholders, and leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience mentoring or guiding senior designers and building collaborative design culture.
• Interest in AI-powered or agent-based experiences, plus a strong portfolio demonstrating systems-level problem solving, interaction design, and product impact.

Nice to have

• Experience in sales, marketing, CRM, or prospecting, although domain knowledge can be developed on the job.
• Ability to work effectively within established design systems; specialized visual design expertise is not required.
