Product Engineering Internship, Electronics Hardware Design (Agentic AI)

Location: Onsite at the Burlington, Massachusetts office, 40 hours per week during the Fall 2026 semester; applicants should attend a local school.

hirify.global develops Electronic Design Automation software used to design advanced printed circuit boards.

What you will do

• Contribute to the development of EDA software for advanced PCB design.
• Engage with Agentic AI technologies supporting and managing PCB design generation.
• Gather and analyze input from technical experts, customers, and colleagues to create product requirement specifications.
• Provide development teams with feedback on layout tool functionality, user experience, and use models.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a BSEE or equivalent degree program.
• Experience or coursework in designing, developing, and testing electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of digital systems, signal processing, and electronics, supported by hands-on laboratory experience.
• Familiarity with electrical and hardware design tools such as hirify.global Allegro, Siemens Xpedition, Altium Designer, or KiCad.
• Availability to work onsite in Burlington 40 hours per week; this role is not remote.

• Interest in or experience with machine learning and emerging AI methodologies.
