What you will do

• Provide legal advice on commercial agreements and contractual matters involving external parties.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial transactions, including loans, leases, acquisitions, and divestitures.
• Conduct legal due diligence and support corporate transactions to identify and mitigate legal risks.
• Manage litigation matters by coordinating with external counsel and internal stakeholders.
• Partner with regional business leaders to provide strategic legal guidance and support growth initiatives.
• Drive legal and compliance processes and governance frameworks to strengthen operational effectiveness.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with 6–8 years of corporate legal experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Law or equivalent extensive working experience.
• Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid setup in Penang, Malaysia.
• Strong English communication, negotiation, and drafting skills.
• Experience in healthcare or other regulated industries is preferred.
• Regional or international exposure supporting multi-country environments is advantageous.
