Tech Lead (Industrial Robotics & Automation)

What you will do

• Lead engineering teams designing, developing, testing, and integrating robotics software and control systems.
• Own technical execution across project workstreams, maintaining code quality, architectural consistency, and reliable delivery.
• Translate requirements into technical solutions with architects, engineers, project managers, product stakeholders, researchers, and customers.
• Drive decisions involving motion planning, control, simulation, hardware integration, deployment, and system performance.
• Establish best practices for robotics development, testing, CI/CD, simulation, debugging, and documentation.
• Mentor engineers, conduct technical reviews, and research trends in industrial robotics, automation, simulation, and AI-enabled robotics.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field.
• Experience leading engineering teams or technical workstreams in robotics, automation, embedded systems, or complex software engineering.
• Strong knowledge of motion planning, trajectory optimization, kinematics, dynamics, control, and system integration.
• Experience with sensors, actuators, robotic arms, end-effectors, mobile, humanoid, or legged robots, or industrial automation equipment.
• Proficiency in C++, Python, Linux, ROS/ROS2, MoveIt2, Git, CMake, Make, GDB, testing frameworks, profiling tools, and CI/CD.
• Ability to decompose complex technical problems, define implementation approaches, guide delivery, review designs and code, debug systems, and optimize performance.

Nice to have

• Experience with NVIDIA Isaac Sim.
