What you will do
- Engineer and implement authentication, privileged access, endpoint hardening, application hardening, and threat prevention controls.
- Design and manage the firm's cloud security posture.
- Deliver new security implementations, upgrades, and custom automation across the technology organization.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to build, troubleshoot, and support bespoke solutions.
- Triage and resolve connectivity issues involving firewalls and proxies, and assist with technical enquiries.
- Research, design, implement, and support security solutions in a global technology environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in security engineering or operational security.
- Demonstrated expertise in endpoint security and hardening, IAM/PAM, cloud and edge security, and related security controls.
- Good understanding of operating system internals and hardening.
- Experience with scripting or automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar languages.
- Good understanding of TCP/IP, routing, and switching, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues across large distributed environments.
