Multimedia Production Artist (Defence Training)

Location: Hybrid role based in the Homebush, NSW or Brisbane, QLD office; occasional domestic travel may be required.

What you will do

• Create artwork, illustrations, animations, and video content for Defence training solutions.
• Develop and modify interactive digital learning content using multimedia development tools.
• Collaborate with Instructional Designers, Courseware Developers, and Subject Matter Experts to produce accurate and instructionally effective content.
• Support simulation-based graphics and interactive training environments.
• Manage competing priorities and deliver multimedia products on schedule and to a high standard.
• Contribute to innovation and standardisation across Defence training programs.

Requirements

• Australian citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain an NV1 Defence Security Clearance are required.
• At least 5 years of experience in multimedia development for training environments.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Experience with eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate or Lectora.
• Working knowledge of HTML5 and xAPI, plus experience with Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent video editing software.
• Strong collaboration, communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.

Nice to have

• Qualification in Multimedia, Digital Design, Instructional Design, or a related discipline.
• Experience with Unreal Engine or Unity.
• Experience in Defence, aviation, highly regulated industries, large-scale programs, technical writing, LCMS, or interactive computer-based training.
