Technician, Quality Inspection (Aerospace)

Location: Compton, California; source inspection activities are associated with Carson, California.

Hourly pay: $26.00–$32.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

• Conduct tests, inspections, audits, validations, and sampling inspections for aerospace and electronic components.
• Verify compliance with contracts, customer requirements, specifications, and quality procedures.
• Inspect and evaluate vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Confirm current operator certifications, special-process certifications, and equipment calibration.
• Participate in design reviews, root-cause analysis, corrective-action follow-up audits, and statistical trend monitoring.
• Train inspection personnel and provide activity and status reports to management.

Requirements

• Experience conducting quality inspections, audits, validations, or supplier surveillance.
• Ability to use and maintain inspection tools, measuring equipment, and test equipment.
• Ability to follow approved inspection plans, procedures, contracts, and technical specifications.
• Ability to participate in root-cause analysis and evaluate corrective-action effectiveness.
